I have a strong case of wanderlust since coming back from Australia. I know I shouldn't be complaining since I live in Southern California and not some boring town in the middle of nowhere. I just feel like there's so much in the world to see and experience! Yes the weather is beautiful here and I'm 15 minutes from the beach but I love seeing the seasons change. When I was in Melbourne this past spring, I got to experience fall for the first time in my life. Nothing like walking through an open field covered with fallen leaves. It was one of the happiest moment of my life.

Word of the Day: WANDERLUST
Found a post I drafted two years ago after coming home from my exchange program. Forward 2 years later, now living in NYC, and a bit more mature, I still have the case of Wanderlust.

Day 2: Sonoma Wine Tasting
First time wine tasting and I can't believe I've never tried this earlier! What's there not to love about visiting different wineries and getting complimentary wine as you walk around their gorgeous vineyards? I must say this is one of my new favorite hobbies as a self proclaimed wino.
Chateau St. Jean - Best garden
Cline Cellar - Pet friendly with a friendly staff
Jaccuzi- Best wines, I had to buy a bottle of Moscoto here
San Francisco Day One
I loved my mini vacation to Norcal last weekend, so much that I wish I never left and already planning my next trip back! It always surprises me how different NorCal is from SoCal and only being 7 hours away by car. It was nice to get away from the summer weather and beaches for some real fall seasons and to spend some quality time with my best friend Marissa who lives up there.
I also love the how big the Golden Gate Park is and all the different parts to it such as the Japanese Garden and museums like the Academy of Science scattered inside the park . It reminded me a lot of the Botanical Garden in Melbourne, Australia, my old stomping grounds when I was studying abroad over there. I really wish we had something similar in SoCal and having some public transportation to get there would be nice too. Aside from getting lost and only having an hour in the Academy of Science, taking the bus from downtown to the park was an interesting journey and really made me feel like a local. I didn't make good use of my $25 day pass for the museum but I'm definitely planning another trip for the Nightlife that they hold there on Thursday nights. Make sure to check out the baby ostriches there too!

Monday Music Finds
They will be performing at Hollywood Forever on October 13th! A week after my birthday. Hopefully tickets won't sell out in 2 minutes like last time because I neeed to see them. I'll be on standby pretending to work at my desk but really waiting for tickets to go on sale. Good luck getting your tickets!
One of my favorite songs for this summer. It's the perfect summer song as you're cruising down Cali's coast.
"Sunny, thank you for the sunshine bouquet.
Sunny, thank yu for the love you've brought my way."
